Wood of the gods
Cedar of Lebanon
Gilgamesh came for it. Egypt built with it. Solomon paneled a temple with it. The mountain still stands.

The holy timber
The Egyptians called us Fenku for this wood. Pharaohs from Sneferu onward took cedar of Byblus for temples and the barques of their gods. The Nile has no such tree. The mountain did.
Hiram of Tyre sent the same timber, and Tyrian hands, for the house in Jerusalem. The God they later set against Canaan was roofed in Lebanese wood.
